Keep that Car Clean
Many people smoke and one big problem is that they do this in the car. With smoking in the car the smell of cigarettes permeates almost every part of the vehicle. None smokers will often enter a smoker’s car and be surrounded by the smell even without a person smoking. This can be particularly problematic for people with asthma.
An excellent way to stop having this problem is to use the Swedish created Snus. As this is simply chewable nicotine, people are able to get their fix without the downside of smoke pouring out everywhere. Snus now comes in a wide range of options, strengths and even flavours these days, which means that, smokers, or those trying to quit smoking can find the perfect Snus to match their needs and at the same time have a clean smoke free car.
If however, a person really needs to smoke then there is the simple option of just not smoking in the car at all. Smoke before and after a drive, or if that time period is too long, simply pull over and take a smoke break. With smoke being such a lingering smell and seeping into the very fabric of the car, this seems a much more sensible option in the long run.
Hints and Tips
There are a few small hints and tips to get rid of the smell though. Such as placing a bowl of coffee grounds into the car with all the windows closed. Instead of a smoky smell it is replaced by that of coffee.
Cloth seat cigarette smell can be neutralized by wiping them with dryer clothes, which have a nice fresh scent to them. An old tried and true method is also simply placing a cup of vinegar in the car overnight. White vinegar absorbs all these stronger odours creating a nice clean car in the morning.
The list goes on, some smells people might prefer to others such as cinnamon sticks or citrus peel. At the end of the day it comes down to preference.
